The eyes are like jewels of the sea. This juvenile Double-crested Cormorant shares many traits with the Anhinga, such as, they both have webbed feet and hunt fish underwater as well as dry their wings in the sun because they lack the preen oil to repel the water like ducks, but, they don't spear their catch like the Anhinga with their beak, they instead use their hooked bill to catch them. Captured in Green Cay Wetlands, Boynton Beach, FL USA. Printed on Acrylic with everything included to mount.
